I can make a pretty educated guess that it's probably your people; based on how most of the time when we are looking to be photographed, it's because of someone we love - a new baby added into the family, the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, your chaotic but oh so lovable toddlers, you get the gist.

I'm not a model, and none of the people in these photos I've taken are models. They’re real, beautiful humans living real beautiful moments just like you.
I go beyond the traditional stiff-posing and forced smiles into the wildly exciting territory of unprompted, storytelling documentation of your most real moments. I've been likened to a fly on the wall on wedding days — taking in every angle, moment, emotion, preserving it for you — in the background but also the expert in your corner ensuring you feel like the beautiful, genuine human you are. And in family sessions, I'm a casual friend, capturing photos that are the truest representations of your beautiful life, not forcing your kids to be or act a certain way.

Working with Susie was such an amazing experience.
We eloped out in Banff and decided to hire Susie based on her style of work and approach. We wanted someone who was able to capture us candidly while also capturing the scenery of Banff.
When we first hopped on a call with Susie, we could already immediately tell that she was such a down-to-earth person. By the end of that call, we knew we were in great hands.
Leading up to the elopement, Susie checked in with us with anything that we needed and offered guidance on areas where we could shoot / things to look out for. Working with her on the day of was such a breeze. One thing we really noticed about Susie was her easy-going demeanour. She made it so easy for us to chat with her about anything and everything. Her approach to documenting couples is very organic and natural. She didn't give a lot of specific direction, but instead allowed us to be ourselves and to forget the camera was even there. Somehow and someway, she was able to capture so many moments that we didn't even realize or notice that she did.
As a photographer myself, I was very surprised when I saw the variety of photos that Susie delivered over. From the compositions to the lighting and creativity, she definitely left us with memories that we'll never forget!
