I strongly believe that choosing a photographer that represents your values is an asset to the overall vibe of your photos and especially on wedding days, will impact your memories in more ways than you can imagine – so here’s a bit more about the person behind the camera and how this could impact you.

Becoming a mom changed the game for me as a photographer. When, what felt like in an instant, a tiny helpless newborn cry became a 3 year old toddler’s shrieks as she’s running down the hall, wild curls bouncing, and again there’s that Abba song filling my mind and I’m choked up and singing “slipping through my fingers all the time”. In the 4 years since welcoming our first child, and our second, I’ve become increasingly attuned to how quickly time is passing us by and this permeates every aspect of my work. From family sessions to wedding days the eyes behind my camera are looking for movement and light, vulnerable moments and personality, unspoken words and subtle glances, belly laughter and tears running.

And maybe you haven’t considered this, but on your wedding day, other than your partner, I’ll be one of the people that you’ll likely be seeing the most of so the personality that I carry and the environment I seek to provide is very important to the overall feel of your day. Because of this, I choose to be a calm fly on the wall (aka not inserting myself and re-creating unnatural moments based on my vision) kind of presence, direct and guide only when needed, doing all that I can to help you feel like you’re the most important person, and of course, helping you look like the model couple that you are.

our values

at the very heart of everything that we do.

In the summer – at the lake. In the winter, in the mountains. That’s where you’ll find my heart.
